We Playstation 4 owners have gotten the Awakening DLC maps for our Call of Duty Black Ops III. I really like the maps, they seem to bring back old memories. Skyjacked, from a previous COD, is especially fun for me. However I do enjoy the new maps that we’ve never played.
Splash is an especially fun map to play. It’s a old abandoned waterpark, and yes, while we have played in old amusement parks, this one is kinda cool. It’s not tight and you can spread out across the map. Swimming is especially helpful and the ability to shoot under water is great.
I’ve always been a Xbox player due solely to the fact that I would get the maps early. Now, surprisingly that PS4 gets them a month earlier its a nice incentive to use my Playstation some more.
I look forward to the next waves of DLC. It keeps the game fun to play. It’s all a matter of opinion, some don’t like the series. I do.
I’ve been playing Call of Duty III since it came out. I was a fan of Black Ops 2 and I’m not disappointed with this installment. It is different though, but I like it.
Perhaps I have to increase my level but it doesn’t seem to have the customization of the character that it has in the past. I’ve started out with one lady, and while I can change her face and such, she ultimately looks the same.
Here she is below:

Last night we decided to stay at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula Ca. I wasn’t aware that it was a haunted inn when I booked it, but the simple reality is, it’s haunted.
The way we heard about this inn was, last week we had taken the Fillmore Western Train for New Years Eve. We had been seated with a couple that was staying at The Glen Tavern Inn. It also
happened to be the last stop on our train where we celebrated the new year before heading back to the station where we were picked up. (That experience is for a different entry).
There are many stories about this Inn, such as a man having hung himself not too long ago in 2008, as well as murders that had taken place up in famed room 307. It should be noted this was a brothel at one time. During the prohibition this was a pretty booming town, and The Glen Tavern Inn was a hub of debauchery.
Now it’s a nice looking quaint Inn, with a silent history. We did however see some what most people call orbs in our room. I saw the video afterwards since by this time I had fallen asleep. They are pretty clear. We were staying in the John Wayne room #208.
The biggest panel of San Diego Comic-Con is over, and while the attendees have long left the beloved Hall H, we’ve been left with the super awesome Force Awakens Comic-con reel. While the crowd knew that J.J. Abrams wasn’t going to show a new trailer, what they didn’t know was that he was going to show a behind the scenes reel and then invite everyone to a Star Wars concert outside the convention center. (J.J. told everyone to follow the storm troopers, how cool is that?)
Here is the exclusive Comic-Con reel show to Hall H on Friday.
