Today was the long awaited first day of Fortnite‘s Chapter 2 Season. Players have waited through Epic games longest season to date. We found ourselves looking for things to do once we finished all the challenges, and honestly there were quite a few. Yet even without challenges the game proves itself quite addicting. Even though Battle Royals seems to have no point it definitely is competitive.
This seasons theme seems to center around gold, fiends and henchmen. It now has a new Chaos engine, though personally I don’t see a difference. However we have to remember, it’s day one. Overall I think it will grow on me.
I definitely like the aesthetics of the game. It looks great, I’m more talking about the cut seems. As for the map, to me it seems pretty much the same with a few items added, some taken away. I still can find my way around the map and maybe stumble on some new landmarks. The battle pass is worth it, has a lot of skins and emotes, much like last season.
As I said overall I like the game, I’m not quite happy that they have removed the snipers from solo games and still left grey guns in that mode. Now in rumble you have blue or better guns in the game and sniper rifles. Why it’s this way, I do not know. I’m hoping that they one day soon put in some transportation, these speed boats only work if the river is going to where you’ll be out of the storm. I see heli pads around but no helicopters as of yet. Day one is a mixed bag of likes and dislikes. I do think Epic listens to its players so we may see some patches soon. What are your thoughts?
It’s that time again, E3 will flood downtown LA bringing with it an immense collections of games, world premieres and tech marvels. If you were lucky enough to get a badge, the next 3 days is going to be a wild ride. We have seen the conferences ahead of time and it seems that the big companies are bringing great products for all of us to see.
There are many games I am excited for, though I can’t list them all here but one is definitely The Last of us II.
This is just a taste of what I am looking forward too. Of course this is PS4 exclusive.
We will be updating our Facebook and Instagram daily as we make. our way through the show. Please be sure to take a look at what we post and look at our pictures.
E3, the Electronic Gaming Expo of the year has been made available to the public for the first time since it’s beginning. This is going to make for an interesting show floor, since it won’t be catering to industry or press only. The gamers will be there and they will be heard.
E3 2017 is June 13-15 this year, while briefings will begin Sunday June 11.
Pricing for the tickets were $149.00 for the first 1,000 people. After that it bumped up to $249. This is a decent price for attendance to this exclusive event.
Many details of the show haven’t been disclosed to us yet. We do know EA will be there, inside and usually outside too. This I find to be one of the best parts of E3.
If you haven’t bought your tickets yet and will be in the LA area, swing over to the E3 website.
Tonight if you pre-order and download games, within just a few minutes you will be able to playLego Star Wars Force Awakens on your PS4 or XBOX One. Both are available to download and play at midnight EST, or 9pm PST. I happen to be in California, so it’s 9pm for me!
I did play the demo today, it surprisingly fun. I find some Lego games to be confusing, but not this one. It gripped me and brought me right in to the game with familiar characters that I know and love. A great things also is that many of the main characters are voiced by the actors in the films. I think that is pretty cool. With 200 characters, it’s totally going to be worth it. I purchased the deluxe edition. It was a mere $10.00 more and I figure I will want them later so might as well get them now.
I know we had Battlefront come out last year, but that game for me just didn’t have the dynamics in a game of Star Wars that I needed. Lego definitely does.
