Call Of Duty Blackout

I’ve been playing Call of Duty for years now. I know that there are many of us out there who have played the game for years. In fact, perhaps its oversaturated and overrated, but the bottom line is, we play it, and we play it a lot, if not everyday.

I played Call of Duty WWII for a few months, jumped into the Fortnite bandwagon and now I’ve found myself playing Call of Duty. Since day one release I’ve been playing the standard modes, Hardpoint, Team DeathMatch, Domination…It wasn’t until about two weeks ago, that I finally decided, I’m going to play “Blackout” mode.

Blackout is not Fortnite, not by a long shot. You might think it is, but it’s much more realistic and there is lot of thought and planning that has to go into even coming close to winning. In Blackout, you really never know what you’re going to find. In fact, you don’t know WHO you might find as a lot of players seem to hide out.

Sometimes you can hear them on the ATV’s that can be found around the map. There are also trucks and helicopters that are available, but those to alert you to who’s near by. It’s a game where you need to be aware, be fast and know where you are going.

Half the time you don’t even see it coming, a sniper on a roof, a missile from an RPG. Or sometimes you just know that if you go for that supply drop, someone is out there waiting, just waiting to pick you off and have that loot to themselves. Then again, there may be someone out there to get them too.

All in all, after finally giving the Blackout mode a chance, I find that I like it. The more I play the better I get. I still do enjoy the modes we are used to playing, but at least in this version you are not flying around on jet packs. That lost me in I think it was COD Infinite Warfare. That was a pretty insanely ridiculous game, yet I stuck around and waiting for the franchise to make a game that would bring me back, and this is the game. One thing I particularly like is that a lot of the maps are old maps from previous games so it feels familiar. If you haven’t picked up Black Ops, I recommend that you do, there’s been a price drop at Gamestop.
